The South Columbia Sports Complex in the town of Fort White features four 200-foot baseball and softball fields with lighting, two 300-foot baseball fields with lighting, along with 140 paved parking spots. This manicured baseball and softball complex is located near the Fort White High School and is within a short driving distance of major outdoor attractions. Other amenities include concession stands, outdoor lighting, and a playground.

Centrally located in Columbia County are the 1,000 acres of greenland and wet space that make up Alligator Lake Park. Here, visitors will find a taste of unspoiled, untamed Florida with a beautiful waterfront spot in the underappreciated metropolis of Lake City. The Park also offers 12 miles of hiking and biking trails, canoe trails and launch, picnic pavilions and plenty of opportunity for nature watching.
