Measuring in at a whopping 204 acres in total, Falling Creek Falls is a popular Florida tourist destination and vacation spot which offers all of the amenities you’re likely to need, from playgrounds to picnic tables. True, it’s not the largest of destinations, but that gives it a certain amount of peaceful tranquility, and you’ll love it if you’re looking to lose yourself in nature away from the hustle and bustle of the city.

Just want to take a little stroll? Take a wander along the boardwalk towards the waterfall or pick up a camera and snap a few shots of the wildlife as you walk. Alternatively, you’re sure to love the stunning foliage, including the beautiful forests of magnolias, sweetgums, and bald cypresses.

Not sure whether you’re heading in the right direction? No worries! You’ll be able to hear these magnificent Florida falls from a distance, and as you get closer you’ll also find an observation platform that looks out on the water.

Location: From I-10 exit 301 drive north on US 41; immediately turn right on Falling Creek Rd (CR 131) and drive 0.8 mile to the trailhead parking area on the right.

Pets: Dogs aren’t permitted on the grounds.
