BYO Wheel Throwing – Art Class

This two-day pottery class is designed for students who own a pottery wheel and want guidance on getting started or improving their wheel-throwing skills. Participants must bring their own wheel to class and leave it overnight, as the workshop takes place over two days. Mikael Byrd will provide hands-on instruction in basic wheel techniques and form development. Pieces will be bisque fired by the instructor; students may either take their work home unglazed or opt into a $20 glaze session (date will be determined in class.) Bring paper towels and an apron if you have one. Dress for mess!
