As you step into Marion Street Bistro, you’re instantly transported back in time, surrounded by vintage Lake City memorabilia, framed newspapers, and exposed brick walls that whisper tales of the past. The building, originally Columbia Pharmacy in 1909, has been lovingly restored, preserving its historic integrity while infusing it with a modern, casual flair.

This eclectic eatery prides itself on its super-diverse menu, which includes everything from southern comfort food and seafood to more unique eats like elk and sushi. No matter when you visit, you can look forward to fresh seafood, hand-cut steaks, artisan flatbreads, and garden-fresh salads. Complementing the food, you can also catch live entertainment here occasionally, enhancing the lively and inviting atmosphere.

Marion Street Bistro is one of the best places in downtown Lake City for a sit-down meal. Whether you’re looking to take your partner out for a date, meet up with friends, or grab a cold beer after a day of adventuring in our springs, it’s the place to be. It’s also pet-friendly, so your furry friends can come along, too.

Current hours are from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays, and they extend until 10 p.m. on Fridays and Saturdays. Marion Street Bistro also offers full-service large party reservations, wedding rehearsal dining, and wedding reception services.

Adjacent to the bistro, The Tavern on Marion, operated by the same owner, offers another exciting dining and drinking experience. This brewery and Irish pub is perfect for catching a game or enjoying a casual meal with friends. It’s open until midnight on Fridays and Saturdays.

Meanwhile, those looking for a heartier option will appreciate the flavorful brisket and the rich chicken cordon bleu made with organic chicken breast. Other customer favorites include the bang-bang shrimp, the Wagyu burger, and the Lake Desota French dip.

One thing we especially love about Marion Street Bistro is its special promotions, making
dining here both delicious and affordable. For example, don’t miss the Sushi Lunch Special from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Tuesdays through Saturdays. During this time, you can snag two sushi rolls
for just $12!

Marion Street Bistro also hosts Wing Wednesday, with half-priced chicken wings. Or, as another option, on Thursdays and Saturdays, you can dine on half-priced oysters. Additionally, certain deals are available throughout the week. For example, there’s an ongoing wine special offering two glasses of house wine for $10.
